Hydro Innovations drop-in reservoir chiller allows you to keep your reservoir temperatures nice and cool though the use of chilled water running through a coiled stainless steel tube. Similar to drop-in chillers, this attachment plugs in-line to your chiller circuit and with the use of a valve to control water pressure through the coils, allows you to regulate the temperature of your nutrient reservoir which helps optimize dissolved oxygen (DO) which allows for more oxygen to plants in a hydro system and helps prevent harmful pathogens. NOTE: These are no longer made from copper due to the possibility of copper leaching into the nutrient reservoir and potentially causing problems for plants. Instead, they are now made from 3/8" stainless steel. Less bends (as stainless is much harder to bend), but same surface area.
